Privacy Policy

The Rebuild is a trade name of 2850917 Alberta Ltd. (“The Rebuild”, “we”, “us”). We provide online health and fitness coaching.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through therebuild.ca, our forms, our free training, our emails and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and your answers to our quiz and application questions.
  • Your consent choices: whether you agreed to receive emails or text messages from us, and when.
  • How you use our pages: if you allow it, the pages you visit, whether you watched our training video and for how long, the link or ad that brought you to us, and basic device and browser information, collected through cookies and similar tools.

Our quiz and application ask about your goals and habits, such as what you’d like to change and what has made it hard so far. We use those answers only to review your application and plan your coaching, and we never share them with advertisers. We do not ask for medical information through our website, such as diagnoses, conditions or medications, so please don’t send it to us there. If you become a client, we explain how we handle your health information in a separate notice when you sign up.

  • To give you the free training and anything else you asked for.
  • To review your application, add you to our wait list and contact you about our coaching.
  • To send you emails, and text messages if you agreed to them, about our training and coaching.
  • To understand which of our pages and ads work, so we can improve them.
  • To keep records of your consent and meet our legal obligations.

We never sell your personal information.

We send marketing emails only with your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw your consent by emailing hello@therebuild.ca. We act on your request within 10 business days.

TEXT MESSAGES

If you opt in, we may send you text messages about your wait list registration, application and calls, and, if you also chose marketing texts, about our coaching programs and offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email hello@therebuild.ca.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only for that purpose.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only for that purpose:

  • our customer relationship, email and text platform (HighLevel)
  • our website host (Webflow)
  • our video host (Vidalytics)
  • analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Meta, and Stape for server-side measurement), only if you allow these cookies
  • our cookie consent tool (CookieYes)
  • our workflow automation tool (Zapier)
  • marketing and technology contractors who work for us under confidentiality obligations

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some of our service providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States and the United Kingdom. Your information may be stored and processed in those countries and may be accessible to their authorities under their laws.

We keep your information while we have a relationship with you, and as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, including records of your consent. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable safeguards, including restricted access, two-step verification on our accounts, and service providers with their own security controls. If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate regulator as the law requires.

We use cookies that are needed for the site to work. We use analytics and advertising cookies only if you say yes in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser.

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
  • correct it
  • delete it, or stop using it for marketing
  • withdraw any consent you’ve given

Email hello@therebuild.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the privacy regulator in your province or country, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

CHILDREN

Our services are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We will update this policy as our services change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
